I have a colleague at work who fits this description to a tee. He drives me up the wall and last night over dinner my husband had to remind me that there are people like this everywhere – so get over it. Do you have a colleague/neighbor/family member who drives you up the wall? Do you wish sometimes you could give them the perfect insult? I’m not sure if you’re including all of the UMSL faculty as colleagues or just the members of the Econ dep’t., but if it’s the prior, I’d respectfully submit that you have more than a few colleagues who fit that description.

Ha! Ha! You are correct – but I’m keeping mum on where the said “annoying colleague” is in the university…
