“We are all frail.” – Measure for Measure

First, I want to wish Hillary Clinton a speedy recovery from her pneumonia.  Second, I wish to note how frail we all are.  Then, I was going to write something about Trump’s obesity and high cholesterol for comparison, but I realized that I was falling into the false equivalency trap so much of journalism does these days.  We don’t have to constantly compare Hillary and Trump as if they are equal, or their comments and situations deserving of equal attention.  Trump is so much less; a lesser candidate, a lesser person, a lesser moral figure, need I go on?  I do think historians will look back on this election in 50 or 100 years time and be astounded at how poorly Clinton was treated (over email??) and how lightly Trump was handled.  I do not want to be a part of that.  For the record, for when my son and grandchildren look into who I was as a person at this important moment in history:  I stand behind rationality, intelligence, and experience.  As such, I believe that Trump is not remotely in Clinton’s league.  Trump is a national embarrassment.
