I came across a timeline on the web of mass shootings in the U.S. since 1999. It was chilling. I had somehow assumed mass shootings like the one yesterday at Sandy Hook Elementary (only) happened every few years. No, it appears they happen every few months. What is going on??

Wow, 1927. And in Michigan, my home state. I’d never heard of that massacre before. It’s worse even than what just happened in Connecticut. There will ALWAYS be crazy, violent people out there. Unfortunately…
