“For even those who hate themselves wish it not to be so, and hiding away such thoughts from oneself most often begs for rationalization and few are slow to reply.” (Author unknown–I like it but I can never remember who said it and the limited searching I’ve done hasn’t turned up the author)
Or as my late-uncle said, “Too much arguing over how to split the goods and not enough focus on making [stuff]. That kind of competition ain’t healthy and leads to lots of finger-pointing, but it’s human nature…”
